The Lady Aggies have been getting a lot of positive press lately suggesting that they could be improved over last year's team and could challenge for the Big West title this year. They beat a good Humboldt team 73-63 in an exhibition game tonight, but I don't think Coach Simpson can be real happy with what he saw from his team. I am missing the game due to work. Boooooooooooooo.

Heard that Malik, Deandre, and Floyd started along with the regulars. I don't expect to know how well this team will play defense or rebound, but there are some things that we should gleam.

1) Does Floyd look like a legitimate scorer?
2) Did Sypkens handle the ball? How were the back up point guards?
3) How does Payne's jump shot look like?
4) How are the new guys adjusting to the offense...

This link says that UC Davis plays at San Francisco on Halloween. If it's at the day time, then I might attempt to crash it. I think parking may be like "heck" at night.

I'm sure OldBanduhAlum and I will be two of the only posters on this thread, but I figured we should start a thread.

This looks to be an amazing year for Sandy Simpson's team. Not only do they get to build off of the experienced gained last year, but they add Heidi Heintz who could be one of the best to ever come to Davis. Also, Blair Shinoda will step in where Gen left off.

Interested to see if Malik has calmed down since last year, seemed a little out of it. I'm very curious to see if the other 2 take time away from Silva, Lowenthal and whoever else is in the mix. I think our bench depth could be very key to our success, Harden and Payne will need...

Josh Ritchart just committed to the Aggies!!! This is a major get for the Aggie coaches and
a big boost for the program. According to Rivals he had offers from Pacific, St Marys and
San Jose State. I think he may have had offers from Wash St, Air Force, Nevada and Fresno
